It’s student affairs job search season, and…well, for many it’s not the most fun time. The excitement of meeting folks who could be part of your professional lives, and meeting the students whose lives you’ll be influencing, has to be balanced with the nervousness that comes from presenting yourself, and the anxiety of the process itself.
I feel you. And so does my deeply insightful and lovely friend Marci Walton. So we’re teaming up to provide you an online venue to chat with us. Ask questions, air frustrations, and hear from us as we address the many parts of the process and how we’ve navigated them- as searchers, and as decision makers.
It doesn’t have to be your first search to participate, and we’re also hoping to answer questions for those on the other side of the search for the first time- so we welcome anyone participating in this process that is seeking some guidance. We’re so excited to help 🙂
You can leave your questions in advance via the Q&A app for the event (at http://bit.ly/OfficeHoursLive), or tweet them to us via our handles– we’ll be answering them on Tuesday, March 1st at 7pm EST via a Google Hangout chat! No worries if you can’t make it live, we’ll share the link to the recorded event afterward…plus there may even be a few additional downloadable treats afterward!
Looking forward to hearing from you, and hopefully helping out a bit!
